    Attention: Basalt construction/traffic update From the Town of Basalt: Thank you for your continued patience with the Midland Streetscape project construction impacts. We are grateful for our amazing community. The final stretch of work for 2023 is taking place from 7 a.m. Thursday, December 7 to 5 p.m. Friday, December 8. This is a 34-hour work period that is consistent and takes place throughout the night. For those of you who drive along Midland Avenue in downtown Basalt to drop off or pick up your child for school, please observe the detours, which you can see highlighted on the map. Again, these detours will be in place on both Thursday, December 7 and Friday, December 8 for drop off and pick up from school.
