Did you know students are learning to code in classrooms at BMS? Here are some great examples of their work.


Mr. Allen's Tech Class
The Scratch projects from 6th and 7th Grade Advanced Computers Class are focused on making animations with computer programming. Students animated characters with movements and costume changes to make story telling more effective and interesting. One 7th grade student even connected her project to the rising and falling action in the plot of "Tangerine," the 7th grade novel being read in Literacy class. (See Edith Camunez-Luna:
