Spirit Week @ BMS

BMS celebrates Longhorn Spirit and Homecoming Week with the following themed days:

MONDAY--Relax it’s PJ day. Wear your most comfy (and school appropriate) PJs to school.

TUESDAY--Twin/Clone day--get the biggest group of twins/clones together!

WEDNESDAY---Crazy Hair and Crazy Socks Day

THURSDAY---Decades Day!! Wear your favorite outfit from a previous decade

FRIDAY---Go Longhorns and Purple Out. EVERYONE WEAR PURPLE!!!

Homecoming on Friday

The afternoon kicks off with a parade through downtown Basalt around 1:15pm. Following the parade, BHS students visit with BMS students to teach them cheers for the BMS/BHS Pep Rally, the loudest event in Basalt!

From 3:30-5pm, students can participate in a student-organized Climate Change March & Rally. (See links below)

BMS 7th/8th Band students play at the BHS Home Football game that night. (See links below for band letter.)

Homecoming Sports

BMS has two home volleyball games this week and an away football game (but in nearby Carbondale!). Come Support our athletes!

SEPT. 23: VOLLEYBALL GAME. 8th plays Riverview at home at 4:30pm. Adults are $3, children $2, and BMS students are free.

SEPT. 25: VOLLEYBALL. 7th plays at home against Riverside at 4:30pm. Adults are $3, children $2, and BMS students are free.

SEPT. 26: FOOTBALL AWAY. Although our football team is away this week, it's only in nearby Carbondale. Come support our athletes! Games start at 4pm at Carbondale Middle School.
