Support our Teachers
While all teachers deeply appreciate a genuine thank you, it's always great to know what else of a practical or whimsical nature they may wish for to improve student learning in the classroom. A Teacher & Staff Wish List is released in November.

School Fundraisers
Fundraising support is always needed! Here are some easy ways you can help year-round.

  • The BMS Magazine Fundraiser: In the fall, BMS holds a Magazine Fundraiser which brings in over $12,000 annually. Don't wait till the fall-- you can renew you subscriptions and support BMS any time. Click here for details.

  • The Taste of Basalt, organized through the Basalt Education Foundation also occurs in the fall and supports all Basalt schools.

  • BEF Raffle Tickets. BMS students sell raffle tickets for big ticket items given away at the Taste of Basalt. All proceeds from raffle sales go back to BMS.

  • Scholastic Book Fair. Buy books at the November Scholastic Book Fair. A portion of sales goes directly back to BMS to purchase new books at the library.

  • Band Boosters Fundraisers. The band holds a variety of fundraisers throughout the year, ranging from the huge Joy of Music to food & item sales. Contact Nick Lenio for details.
  • 5th Grade Bulb Sales. This happens in the beginning of the year to help raise funds for school trips and fun adventures.
