2017-18 Fall Sports Update
To participate in a BMS sport in 7th and 8th grade, the following prerequisites must be met: 1. Proof of a sports physical done within one calendar year of the start of the sport is needed on file at BMS (we’ve introduced new physical forms-- see below). 2. A $50 athletic fee must be paid to the front office. 3. The two waivers in the back of the Athletic Handbook must be signed and turned in. You can view the book and waivers here:

*May 23-24: Free Physical Opportunity. Rising 6th & 7th graders interested in Football or Volleyball have the opportunity to receive a free athletic physical (6th grade) or screening (7th graders who have had a physical previously) with Dr. Thomas Moore May 23-24 at his office. His office is located at 100 Elk Run Drive, Suite 229, Riverview Plaza, Basalt. Students who attended the football meeting should have the physical forms and information to bring with them. If your student missed the meeting or is intending to play volleyball, the forms are available at the front office or downloadable at the below link. Please call the front office with questions. 384-5900.

Fall Sports Informational Meeting For Students
MAY 22: FOOTBALL: 6th and 7th graders interested in playing football should attend an informational meeting during lunch.

MAY 26: VOLLEYBALL: 6th and 7th graders interested in playing volleyball should attend an informational meeting during lunch.


2017-18 Fall Sports First Days of Practice
The first day of football practice is 3:30pm on August 21st.

The first day of volleyball practice is 3:30 pm on August 28th.
