Art - Visual Arts
Guinevere Jones has a bachelor's degree in at from Fort Lewis College with a certification in K-12 education and a master's degree in teaching English language learners from Western Governors University. She aspires to bring playfulness into the process of teaching art and continues to build on her 13 years of teaching by seeking out new learning experiences to bring back to students. Recently she took a class on tech tools, a botanical drawing workshop, and did a book study on Robyn Jackson’s, "Never Work Harder Than Your Students" to continue working on her classroom skills. She enjoys doing multi-media artwork where she can experience many of the mediums used in class. She has explored 23 countries and next would like to visit the mountains in Northwestern India.
