Description

RESILIENCE: THE BIOLOGY OF STRESS & THE SCIENCE OF HOPE is a one-hour documentary that delves into the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the birth of a new movement to treat and prevent Toxic Stress.

Following the movie screening of Resilience, regional service providers including psychiatrist Dr. Craig Bushong, Michelle Muething from the Aspen Hope Center, and Mayda Torres from the Family Resource Center, will facilitate small group discussions in English and Spanish around topics related to the film including toxic stress, resilience, ADHD, suicide, and drug use. Snacks will be provided!
